We have been really busy all through January! We wrote winter stories and winter poems, we worked on division and fractions in maths, we have been learning about life in the Highlands around the time of the Highland Clearances and we have designed our own personal tartans which we used to paint kilts!
Next week we are going to Holm Mills to visit the clan museum there and to find out more about different clans and how tartan is made. We also plan to go to the Highland Folk Museum to learn more about life in this area in the past.
Our pupil of the month for January is Adela! Pupils and staff voted for Adela because she works diligently in class, she is quiet and never makes a fuss about what she is doing and she plays fairly with others. Congratulations, Adela. You are a good example to other pupils!
